This  course is for you if you want to learn useful English and improve your communication skills in a relaxed way with other students 50+ years. Our morning lessons will teach you to communicate better in English, while in the afternoons and on weekends you will get a chance to explore the beautiful countryside, coast and towns of Devon and Cornwall.

Our most popular 50+ course is our programme based on the landscapes of the films of Rosamunde Pilcher, our famous West Country author. Rosamunde Pilcher is most famous for her novel, 'The Shell- Seekers' which she wrote when she was in her sixties. Her stories were set in the countryside and seaside towns of Devon and Cornwall and have been featured in both English and German television films over the years. With these popular films in mind, we aim to give you a taste of the beautiful landscapes that inspired her by taking you on excursions to some of these locations and to others we feel represent the romantic spirit in her books. Come with us on a two week exploration of our favourite romantic Devon and Cornwall places. All our excursions are accompanied by our expert teachers or guides.
