To meet the 22.5-hour weekly requirement set by some German states, participation in 4 hours of afternoon cultural activities is obligatory.

This course is approved for Bildungsurlaub in the following states:

  • Berlin

  • Brandenburg

  • Bremen

  • Hamburg

  • Rheinland-Pfalz

  • Saarland


For states that require 30 full hours per week, participation in 9 hours of afternoon cultural activities is obligatory. These sessions may include guided visits, workshops, excursions, and interactive local experiences that extend your learning beyond the classroom and deepen your understanding of British life and culture.

This course is approved for Bildungsurlaub in the following states:

  • Hessen

  • Niedersachsen

  • Schleswig-Holstein
